We do try to answer your call quickly but there are times when we are really busy. if you can, it is better to wait until after 09:15 and also avoid phoning between 12:00 and 14:00.
We answer all calls in the order they arrive. It is usually quicker to hang on rather than to keep re-dialling; you simply go to the back of the queue.
If you require urgent medical advice when the practice is closed, please dial 111 who will be able to direct you to the appropriate service.
If you need immediate treatment you may be asked to go to the Newham Urgent Care Centre at Glen Road, Newham University Hospital.
No appointment is needed and assessments are carried out by experienced NHS nurses.
The nearest A&E department is also at Newham University Hospital.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
